Giesecke & Devrient is a world leader
in the development and
production of both banknote processing systems and transaction
cards and card systems. G&D was established in Reston, Virginia in 1990
as the North American Headquarters of the Munich-based Giesecke &
Devrient GmbH, the parent company, which was founded
in Germany in 1852. In December 1999 G&D relocated from Reston, Virginia
to nearby Dulles, Virginia and now occupies two newly constructed,
larger, state-of-the-art buildings. In this new location,
G&D has a larger production facility for the manufacture of a new line
of currency processing machines designed and made in the USA.
The new facility also features an advanced training center for the use
of our customer's technical support staff. In the training center, our
engineers can conduct training in the operation and maintenance of
our products. |
